Rossella Sbarra

Dr Rossella Sbarra is a multi-lingual senior project geologist working in our Fractured Reservoir Characterization (FRC) team.

She has many years experience within the Oil & Gas service company sector before joining GeoScience.  Her fields of expertise include carbonate and clastic sedimentology, sedimentological and fracture logging of core and outcrop sections, integrated sequence stratigraphic  analysis of outcrop and subsurface sections, carbonate and clastic diagenesis , and reservoir characterization.

• Ph.D. University of Bari (Italy) in Earth Sciences
  
• Main areas of expertise are the Triassic to Cretaceous succession of the Middle East, the Tertiary of the Far East and the Jurassic sandstone reservoir of subsurface Southern Utah (USA)
  
• Development and presentation of clastic and carbonate sedimentology outcrop training courses, as well as in-house carbonate biofacies training courses
