Dr Colin Watson

Senior Technical Specialist

Colin has been with the company since 1995 and has twenty five years experience in applied rock mechanics, computing and numerical modelling.

He has been responsible for the design and implementation of our proprietary geomechanics software for wellbore stability analysis and the development of practical analytical methodologies.  He has carried out stability analyses, sanding studies and coupled thermal – geomechanical analyses for numerous clients in the North Sea, Alaska, the Middle East and North Africa.

Colin has a PhD in Distinct Element Analysis from Durham University School of Engineering, a Masters degree in Engineering Geology and a Bachelors Degree in Geology from Durham.
