Geomechanics Technical Specialist
Richard has been with the company since 1986, following five years at the
Camborne School of Mines HDR project, where he ran all aspects of the
geophysical wireline, and production logging programmes. He has thirty
four years experience in wireline logging starting as a Field engineer with
Schlumberger.
Between 1989 and 1995 Richard was attached to the deep site investigation programmes undertaken by UK Nirex at Sellafield and Dounreay, where he provided technical supervision and quality control for the majority of the geophysical wireline logging programme.
Richard helped establish our upstream oilfield consultancy services and has been involved in the marketing and day to day running of the oilfield geomechanics group since 1999.
Richard holds a BA in Maths / Physics (1974) from the University of York.
