Image Log Studies

Borehole image logs provide essential information, especially for the nature and distribution of fracture networks in the reservoir.

Our studies have embraced just about every formation and rock type available: basement rocks such as the granites and metamorphics of the North Sea and UK continental shelf, Arabian Shield and African Shield; Lower Palaeozoic quartzites, glacial sediments or fluvial sandstones  in N Africa; Permian, Mesozoic and Tertiary carbonates of Europe, S America, Russia, the Middle and Far East, and N America.

These have been single well to full field studies, involving integration of other downhole log, drilling and dynamic data to draw out the essential information needed for reservoir modelling or decisions about well testing or field development strategy.
