Reservoir Models


Our view about models is that the crucial step is data analysis, preparation and conceptualisation of the model, so that anything done in clever software is properly constrained, and its output critically assessed.


We have provided clients with robust parameters and concepts for reservoir models in a wide range of settings, for example in Russian Permian carbonates, basements of Arabia and Europe, Mesozoic carbonates of the UK and Iraqi Kurdistan, and Ordovician quartzites of Algeria.


Within this context we have developed a specialist niche in the evaluation of Discrete Fracture Network (DFN) models and also the evaluation of fracture porosity ranges for reserve calculation. Recently this has been applied in many carbonate reservoirs around the world, especially Iraqi Kurdistan.
