Nathan graduated from the Camborne school of mines in 2000 with a degree in Mining Engineering. He then worked for two years offshore in West Africa and the North Sea mudlogging and then as a data engineer.
Joining GeoScience in 2002 as a Technical Assistant Nathan assisted senior members of the borehole rock mechanics team in all aspects of oilfield geomechanics analysis. Promoted to Technical Specialist in 2006 and subsequently Senior Technical Specialist he has been involved in numerous geomechanical studies including wellbore stability, sanding, pore pressure prediction, HPHT, multilateral stability, depleted reservoirs, salt creep, real time support and more recently decommissioning and underground storage.
Nathan currently leads the borehole rock mechanics group.
